Spirited contemporary artist TAMAMOTO Nana is known for the
use of textile-moulded objects to create bas-relief paintings, sculptures, and installation pieces.
Whether it be working sewing thread through twists of cloth to create the texture of coral or the bark of an ancient tree, coloring with splashes, creating rippling protrusions of resin,
or other means, her work is distinguished by a matière of abundant materials.
She also holds periodic workshops and writes books.
